Easter 2009

Hello everyone,

We had a wonderful Easter today. We got the kiddos all dressed up and took them to church. Surprisingly we made it to church early for once. Seems like we are always attending the 11:10 service instead of the 11 am service. But we got there for the 11 am service today. It was nice. The church had a nice choir ensemble today. Bonnie and the babies did really well. Bonnie was her usual self but all dressed up.

After church we came home and got ready for Easter Dinner. Naedrie's mom and Mr. P. (her step-father) joined us. Mr. P did 75% of the cooking today. It was all really good. Ham, scalloped potatoes, shrimp cocktal, stuffing, salad and pecan stuffed eggs. It all tasted really good.

This last week Bonnie had an Easter Egg Hunt at the church. That was on Wednesday night. She had to miss gymnastics but she enjoyed it. She was having so much fun she didn't want to leave when it was over.

Weather has been off and on. Warm for a few days then rainy and cool. Raining right now.

I did get the lawned mowed this week.

My brother, his wife and 2 kids were with us at the beginning of the week. That was very nice. We all had a real good time. Got to show them around town a little and they got to see the babies. We did a scenic train ride with them through the Ozark mountains. That was fun. This week Bonnie went to a Cardinals game with me. She really enjoyed the game and the metrolink ride.

I hope you enjoy the pictures of the kids.

Talk to you soon.

Jim

I've got a couple posts brewing, but, in the meantime, here are some photos for all to enjoy.

April update

Hello, this is Jim again. This is a long over-due update. Contrary to popular belief, this website is still being used. We are just very busy now with the babies. As they have gotten bigger, they have been demanding more time and attention. So, we hope all of our followers understand.

So what's new? Well the boys are getting big. Teddy is no longer the biggest though. Oliver has him beat by about half a pound now. Both are now over 15 pounds. Oliver has some of the chunkiest thighs I have ever seen. Teddy is still no slacker in the food department. Teddy has turned into the jokester of the group. He is always ready to laugh and be jovial. Oliver is the serious and reserved one. The girls are doing great as well. They are 14 pounds. They have both rolled over. The boys still have not done that. Tummy time is going well with everyone. Holding up the head is becoming a breeze. Soon they will be trying to crawl, but don't tell Naedrie. She is not ready for that yet. Next month we will be starting solids...

Bonnie is still doing wonderful. Today we took her to an Easter egg hunt. She really had lots of fun on the egg hunt. She ran around and found lots of eggs. She is in love with School Buses. We have to see them on a daily basis when she rides with me to work in the morning. She is always wanting me to catch the schudebus as she calls it. Well this week she and Naedrie were driving around. Naedrie passed a yellow H2 (hummer). Bonnie's comment as they passed was dat a little schudebus. I am sure that H2 driver would just love to know he is driving a "short bus".

We are getting ready for spring around here. Trying to get our yard the way we want it. Still not fully moved into the house yet. But really, do you ever get all the boxes unpacked in the first year?

Otherwise things are well. Bonnie is going to school only part time. She enjoys staying home with Naedrie 2 days a week. Naedrie has been enjoying that more too. That allows her to have some time with Bonnie. Work for me is going well. Getting ever more busy. Call has been crazy lately but that is because I have been on with Kathy Gose. That never worked well when we were in residency together.

I hope that our next update won't be so long from now. Pictures to follow.
