First Pair of Socks

Here's the first pair of socks that I knit. I did them in July, but I just gave them away as a birthday gift, so I held off on posting until the gift had been opened. I also knit a pair of matching earrings. I used Cascade Fixation. It wasn't the easiest yarn to work with, but I liked the results. I would use it again.

Projects update!

Finished another felted purse this weekend. It is made from Esperanza. It felted beautifully, but after carrying the purse around shopping this afternoon, my fingers were covered with pink splotches. I guess this wasn't the best use of handpainted yarn. Oh well. I love the purse anyway and have already received several compliments from strangers.
