This is Aunt GiGi reporting for Quad Mom! All the babies were born shortly after 8:30 this morning! Everybody is doing great; nobody needs oxygen. However, three are on C-Pap just to help them move air! Audrey, our little champ, is doing great and breathing on her own! Here is the baby roster in order of birth including weights:
1. Melanie at 3 lb 13 oz & 17 inches.
2. Oliver at 3 lb 11 oz & 16.5 inches.
3. Theodore "Teddy" at 4 lb 4 oz & 17.5 inches.
4. Audrey at 3 lb 8 oz & 16.75 inches.
When Quad Dad came to let us all know everybody was doing well the look on his face was priceless!! It was a mixture of happiness, relief, and excitement! Also, it was very cute! Quad Mom is doing great! All the hospital staff is telling us how well she did and that this has been a great experience for all parties involved! She is recovering just fine...a little queasy, and,of course, tired but doing great! She was able to visit the babies in the NICU which allowed her to hold them! It was one of the greatest moments for her! Now she is resting while Quaddad takes family on the Introduction to the Quads Tour!! Here in a little bit Big Sis Bonnie will come for a visit!! Quad Mom and Dad would like to thank all family members and friends for all their thoughts and prayers! It was greatly appreciated!
